Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Digital Upthrust, we value the trust our clients place in us and strive to deliver professional, result-oriented digital marketing services. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the conditions under which a project or service may be cancelled and any refund eligibility.

By engaging with our services, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to this policy.

1. Service Commitment

Digital Upthrust provides personalized marketing, advertising, and web solutions that require time, resources, and strategy from the moment a project begins.
Once a service has started, expenses such as team allocation, research, creative development, and ad management are already incurred — therefore, refunds are generally not applicable after work has commenced.

2. Cancellation Policy

A. Before Project Commencement

  • Clients may cancel a project within 48 hours of payment if no work has been initiated.

  • In such cases, a full refund (minus transaction charges) will be processed.

B. After Project Commencement

  • Once work has started — including research, campaign setup, ad account creation, or creative design — the project becomes non-refundable.

  • However, clients may choose to pause or reschedule services for a later date with mutual agreement.

C. Ongoing Retainer Services

  • For ongoing monthly retainers (e.g., social media management, ad campaigns), clients may cancel future services by providing at least 15 days’ written notice before the next billing cycle.

  • No refunds will be issued for ongoing or current-month services already in progress.

3. Refund Policy

Refunds will only be considered under the following conditions:

  • The client has made a duplicate payment due to a technical error.

  • The agency has not initiated any work on the project and the cancellation request was made within the allowed time.

  • A mutual agreement is reached between both parties in exceptional cases.

Note: Refunds, if approved, will be processed within 7–10 business days through the same payment method used for the transaction.

4. Non-Refundable Services

The following services are non-refundable under all circumstances:

  • Meta Ads, Google Ads, or any third-party advertising budgets once campaigns are launched.

  • Completed deliverables such as ad creatives, copywriting, designs, or reports.

  • Consultation or strategy sessions once conducted.

  • Any service provided on a discounted, promotional, or trial basis.

5. Project Delays

If a project is delayed due to client-side reasons (e.g., lack of feedback, missing content, or delayed approvals), Digital Upthrust will not be liable for refunds.
We may, however, agree to extend deadlines or pause the project upon mutual consent.

6. Quality Assurance

Our team ensures the delivery of high-quality services. In case of dissatisfaction, clients are encouraged to:

  • Discuss their concerns directly with our team for resolution.

  • Request minor adjustments or revisions as per the service scope.

Digital Upthrust aims to resolve any concerns collaboratively before considering cancellations.

7. Third-Party Fees

Digital Upthrust is not responsible for refunding any third-party charges, such as:

  • Paid ad spend (Facebook, Google, TikTok, etc.)

  • Domain or hosting costs

  • Software subscriptions or premium plugin fees

8. Dispute Resolution

In case of a disagreement regarding payments, refunds, or cancellations, both parties agree to first resolve the issue through mutual discussion or mediation.
If unresolved, the matter will be governed under the laws of Pakistan, with the courts of Islamabad having exclusive jurisdiction.
